I highlighted my hair and now its growing out?

I got blonde highlights a couple months ago and they lightened my hair (i have original dirty blonde hair) and now there just starting to grow out so you can see my original hair from the top. I'm starting highschool in a week and i dont want it to look like this and its to expensive to get my hair done again. i dont know what to do ? can anyone help?I highlighted my hair and now its growing out?
