I want to dye my hair dark brown. I have highlights in now, will my highlights match my new dye also?

I got my hair done (cut and highlighted blonde) over 6 months ago, its growing out and now I want something waay different. My hair is naturally light brown. I want it dark brown all over, will I be able to this at home and have it come out the same color all over? Also what brand dyes are good choices to use?I want to dye my hair dark brown. yes it will all be the same color- if you were going lighter than your natural color it may not but since you are going darker it will sure be fine.
