Could I DYE MY HAIR AND GET HIGHLIGHTS AT THE SAME TIME?

I want to dye my hair dark brown and get golden highlights; could I do the whole process at the same time?Could I DYE MY HAIR AND GET HIGHLIGHTS AT THE SAME TIME?
Hello! I am a licensed hair dresser, and yes we do color and hilights all the time! If your hair is in good shape it is perfectly fine to do both. If you are doing it yourself (not recommended)- put all over color on, process, then rinse. Towel dry or blow dry hair (you can hilight hair damp, its ok, just not soaking wet!) Then you can add some hilights as needed. hope that helps!Could I DYE MY HAIR AND GET HIGHLIGHTS AT THE SAME TIME?
Yes, you would have the base put on then washed out and then the highlights would be added. There is no reason to wait as the hair is already dead, so two sessions of dye wont hurt.

The only way the hairdresser won't continue is if you have an allergic reaction to the first dye, which is rare, but can happen.
not if u dying all your hair . only if u were to dye underneath brown and top high lightes. it would mess the color up and wouldnt turn out good i think. if u want dye it brown then wash the dye out blow dry hair and then to the high lightes so ur sure it doesnt mess the color a lot (:
Yeah they will just pull out the pieces on top or wherever you want the highlights and dye them with foil and the rest brown.
