I highlighted my hair myself and it turned out bad?

okay so me and 4 other friends all highlighted are hair today just from like target stuff. my friend did my hair actually and they made me feel so bad because it turned out reallyyy blondeee. my hair is already blonde but..


so they said it looked really uneven %26amp; i dont really want to re highlight it, and i cant tell my mom or she would get pissd. really dont know what to do.I highlighted my hair myself and it turned out bad?

Mistake No.1 was letting your friends do your hair! Never trust any of your girl ';friends';. They will get you in trouble every time!





There is nothing you can do to ';fix'; it other than covering them up with a darker colour. You cannot remove them... you cannot wash them out. You failed to realize this is a permanent chemical change, and whatever you have had is gone forever, finished, kaput, no more. You can only do more chemical changes (and further damage) to try and cover it up.





You do not fix it by adding more highlights. That is just insult to injury. You haven't said what the problem is... there may be a way to make it look less bad. You need to tell your mom, I guess. But I definitely do suggest that you have a consultation with a qualified professional hair colourist. Explain what you did, what you had wanted. Ask if there is a way to make it look quite not so bad. She may have a simple solution. Or she may have a complex procedure to follow. They always know of lots of options... some that you haven't considered. It may not be as bad as you think. There is usually no charge for a consultation at most salons.
i say that you eitehr tell your mom, or re-highlighted it. I know you dont want to do either, but those are the only options I can see.
