What would happen if you use shop bought blonde hair dye over bleach blonde highlights?

The highlights were put in by a hairdresser, but I want more of an all over colour, so can I just dye it with shop bought dye, or will it go weird?

I guess just do it and see. But of course, it can go all wrong, if you want.





It all depends so much on what colour you have now, what colour you are putting on it, and what condition the hair is in. Of course, the skill of the person doing it has a lot to do with it as well.





You will always get a bit lighter in the bleached areas. You may sometimes get some odd off-shades too. It is hard, nor is it desirable, to get a solid even colour all over. You should have your consultation first with a qualified professional hair colourist so that you can avoid a lot of the common problems that may arise. Being forewarned is half the battle. It's much harder to fix the problems after they occur. You don't want any surprises.
