On all of the packets it seems to say ';do not use on bleached/highlighted hair';, would it really mess my hair up that much? Especially as I only want to go a few shades darker than I am already. My hair's in pretty good condition, but I'm growing the highlights and they sort of start an inch or so down my hair now, I don't want them to turn some dodgy color, or frazzle my hair. Ayudame por favor! Can I use temporary hair dye on highlighted hair?
Yes, you can use it, its just that it will be more permanent than normal in the highlighted spots. Can I use temporary hair dye on highlighted hair?
yes you can, it will not harm your hair...its only temporary...the temporary color on lightened hair is only going to make the lightened hair the color thats in the temporary bottle
I have highlighted my hair before and I have used temporary dies after that, and they never messed up my hair.
but everyone's hair is different.
But I'm glad you are using temporary die instead of those cancer causing ones I use. :D
yes u can
Yes you can and you need to know that it will come out with a different shade on your highlighted hair.
Best wishes!
it shouldnt muck your jair up or make a diffrence.
';do not use on bleached/highlighted hair';-part of your statement
don't recommend it
no ur hair will blow up
I have medium brown hair and had blonde highlights and, like you, I was getting roots and wanted to fix it. I used haircolor from a box and my highlights turned a purpleish-grey.
it will probably soak into the highlighted hair and make it darker. Also the chemical reaction may not be good and may damage your hair more than it already is from the highlights. I don;t recommend it
I am a licensed Cosmetologist.
ya i think you would be able to
