What's a cute way to add dark blue highlights to black/brunette hair?

I tried looking up some style ideas for her hair, a cute design, etc. but I can't find any. She has shoulder legnth hair. I'm trying to find a cute style to make her hair + the blue look awesome.What's a cute way to add dark blue highlights to black/brunette hair?
either all around... or pick the fav parts of your head (.... i guess lol).. and color those... or get one front piece of your hair cut into a long bang... and highlight that. not fully- just in little bits of hair.

in my point of view the colors don;t look good together
I think it would look so awesome if you just do on streak of blue on one of the pieces of hair framing the face.
I think that pink will look better.
