Highlight for dark hair?

My hair is naturally black.. and i was told if i got blonde highlight they would turn orange is this true?Highlight for dark hair?
Rather than changing your hair color you might try a rinse of Chamomile Tea first. It does not change your hair color, just adds nice highlights and is very inexpensive. You can ';seep'; the tea to whatever looks right to you and if it is too dark or too light, the next time adjust the ';seeping'; time. Be sure and cool the tea before adding to your hair. No need to rinse out but I do use an old towel to blot my hair so it won't stain a good towel.
